The Awakening Lotus Healing Arts Center, Inc., was founded in 2003, as a multi-disciplinary alternative health-care clinic. Our philosophy is one of providing high-quality complementary health care in a comfortable and relaxing setting. All of our practitioners are experienced, highly competent providers within their specialties. Though we are a clinic of independent practitioners, we work together to provide you with the best possible care available in one location.We offer a variety of treatment modalities in our clinic including Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, Physical Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine and a wide range of Asian bodywork and Western massage modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Myofascial Release, PNF, Shiatsu, Jin Shin Do, Jin Shin-Jyutsu, and more. We also have a full herbal pharmacy, including Chinese herbs and patent medicines, vitamins and supplements, herbal teas, topical ointments and pain-relieving rubs and liniments. Most of our practitioners are preferred providers on most health plans, and accept and bill insurance for Auto Accidents. Practitioners will bill your insurance for you, or provide documentation for you to obtain reimbursement from your insurer or flexible spending and health-savings accounts. Our clinic, located in the heart of the Lloyd district, is housed in a 1911 Portland "Foursquare" which has been carefully renovated and tastefully decorated to provide a soothing and comfortable environment. Our clinic is easily accessible from both I-5 and I-84. Our clinic offers day, evening and weekend office hours, and is wheelchair accessible. We offer free convenient parking, and reserved spaces for those with mobility issues. |
